After morning pickup at select locations in Phoenix or Scottsdale, relax on your drive through the Sonora Desert, en route to some of the American Southwest's most beautiful highlights.

Your drive brings you through the expansive Sonoran Desert filled with the native saguaro cactus. The scenery begins to change as you increase in elevation and views of the cactus fade into pine trees. As you continue further into northern Arizona, travel the outskirts of the Route 66 town of Flagstaff and from the highway, see the San Francisco Peaks among the seemingly endless Ponderosa Pine Forest, one of the largest contiguous forests of ponderosa pines in the world.

Williams is the first stop along the tour for a chance to experience Route 66, the iconic American highway steeped in rich tradition.

Your van climbs up to 6,000 feet (1,800 meters) before you reach your first stopping point in Grand Canyon National Park. Expect ample time to explore the features around the deepest and widest part of the canyon, which measures 277 miles (445 km) in length. Visit the El Tovar Hotel and Hopi House in Grand Canyon Village, multiple scenic lookout points along the East Rim Drive, and have time to shop, go for a walk, grab lunch (own expense), and visit cultural exhibits along the rim.

Your tour ends in the evening upon your return to your starting point in the Phoenix-Scottsdale area.

Jenny was a wonderful guide - very fun and informative. This was a really nice day trip to see the Canyon without having to make the long drive on our own. We learned lots of cool facts along the way & are very pleased with our experience.

Great Trip to the Grand Canyon
Melissa_S

I had an excellent experience. This was my first trip to the Grand Canyon, the ride from Phoenix to the Canyon was good. I got to see a good part of Arizona. Bruce our driver was great. The timing was perfect, we went to about 4 lookout points, the views were amazing. We spent enough time at each lookout point to take in the views, take pictures and take in the moment. I had a great time.

Seating Rights
Sharon_A
, May 2021
I was upset that I had to give up my seat to a couple riding back with us only because I was in a double seat and they wanted mine. I had to move to a single seat. I had that seat all the way there and was comfortable there. I paid like everyone else and feel I should not have had to give it up for them. The lady was very rude saying they had to sit together then the tour guide asked me if I would move to a single seat. The van also had tire issues coming back so there was a delay getting back to my hotel.

Because of Covid restrictions, we only allow 9 guests in our spacious 13 passenger vehicles. In order to properly space our guests and to not separate couples, we opted to request that you move to a single seat. At least it was a seat with a window and an aisle! Thanks for coming out and we look forward to having you on our Sedona, Apache Trail or Tombstone tour.

Waste of money.

Dont bother wasting your money on this tour. Sure this guide is nice and all, but it’s a complete waste of money. You might as well drive yourselves up there and take as many stops as you’d like for as long as you please. We took one stop per hour for about 10 minutes. On the way back we only made 1 stop an hour into the 3h45min drive. Once we reached the grand canyon, we went to 5 different overlooks for different views all for a whopping 15 minutes at each overlook. Huge waste of money and the tour guide drives like a maniac. Save your money and take your time to soak in the beauty instead of being only allowed 15 minutes to see, for most, a once in a life time experience.

My husband and I came to Phoenix for a long weekend trip and didn’t want to spend most of it driving so we decided to do the tour. It was a great choice and we loved learned the history of Phoenix. We had plenty of rest stops and the ride was nice. We highly recommend this tour!! And our tour guide was awesome. Thanks for a great time!
