Return Details

Returns to original departure point
Meet at the time you chose for your tour near Sedona. Listen to a short safety orientation before getting your helmet, goggles, and gloves for your ATV adventure.

Hop in the 13-passenger van as you ride over to the trailhead. Your guide gets you situated with your ATV, and then leads you and your group on an exploration through the area.

Drive up hills and past a desert stream to get away from crowds that are there to do some sightseeing. Take in the views of the red-rock bluffs and steep canyon walls as you ride up to lesser-known lookout points, vistas, and quiet locations. Pass spots that appear in many Hollywood movies from the past 50 years, and travel up 800 feet to the top of Skeleton Bone Mountain for incredible views of the Verde Valley.

After all the excitement, abandon your ATV back where you picked it up from, and follow your guide into the van for a ride back to Arizona ATV Adventure.

The West Sedona Canyon Tour area is about 8 miles west of Sedona. Make your own way to the departure point and from there, you will be taken to the trailhead in a 15-passenger van. The 3-hour tour begins when you arrive at the trailhead. This is the outback of the West Sedona Valley, where over 40 movies have been filmed over the years. There is over a hundred miles of trails to choose from, which provides your guide with the opportunity to customize each tour based on the age, interests and skill levels of the group. You’ll be awestruck by a view of the Verde Valley from the top of Skeleton Bone Mountain, over 800 feet above the valley floor. And don’t be surprised if some antelope run alongside you as you drive along the valley floor! For your safety and comfort, wear closed-toed shoes, long pants, and bring your sunglasses. Awesome Experience!

This tour is a must-do in Sedona! We rode through the Coconino National Forest, with Sedona's famous red rocks and Bear Mountain in the backdrop. Michael, our tour guide from Arizona ATV Adventures, was laid-back, knowledgeable, and an all-around cool dude. You get outfitted with helmet, goggles, and bandana (it gets super dusty!). Water and snacks are provided as well. Bring a light jacket in April in case it gets breezy (it did for us). Overall, a super fun and adrenaline-filled experience. Highly recommended!

Two boys (15 & 13), wife and I had a blast. Aaron was a great guide, ATVa were in great shape, covered a lot of terrain. Nice views. Gave us enough latitude to have fun on machines without getting hurt. Only complaint was other family with us was late and very slow and nervous on ATVs so didn’t cover as much ground as we would have otherwise. Highly recommend.

I had a great time! They were very easy to find and had good parking. They were very well organized and the checking in process was very smooth. My tour guide, Michael I believe, was very calming and helped me get over my jitters of doing this for the first time. My group was so much fun! We were able to build up our confidence over time and Michael made sure we went at a comfortable pace for all of us. The view from the top was excellent and I loved taking pictures. Great combination of having a new experience and sightseeing at the same time!
